Listen to my concerns and keep me safe, just as you have promised.

Show me your love and save me, Lord, as you have promised.

Please listen to my prayer and my cry for help, as I lift my hands toward your holy temple.

And now, Lord God, please do what you have promised me and my descendants.

Listen to my prayer and hurry to save me. Be my mighty rock and the fortress where I am safe.

I belong to you, and I have respected your laws, so keep me safe.

Please, don't send me back to that prison at Jonathan's house. If you do, I will die there.”

and said, “Please, Jeremiah, pray to the Lord your God for us. Judah used to have many people, but as you can see, only a few of us are left.
