If you are too lazy to plow, don't expect a harvest.

Being lazy is no different from being a troublemaker.

How long will you lie there doing nothing at all? When are you going to get up and stop sleeping?

Then you would never be lazy. You would be following the example of those who had faith and were patient until God kept his promise to them.

Having a lazy person on the job is like a mouth full of vinegar or smoke in your eyes.

Some people are too lazy to lift a hand to feed themselves.

Look at the birds in the sky! They don't plant or harvest. They don't even store grain in barns. Yet your Father in heaven takes care of them. Aren't you worth much more than birds?

A lazy person refuses to clear a thorny path, but everyone who does right walks on a smooth road.

They are like a bird that sees the bait, but ignores the trap.

Oxen and donkeys know who owns and feeds them, but my people won't ever learn.”

Listen to me, my children! Be wise and have enough sense to follow the right path.

On this earth four things are small but very wise:

Storks, doves, swallows, and thrushes all know when it's time to fly away for the winter and when to come back. But you, my people, don't know what I demand.

Laziness leads to poverty; hard work makes you rich.
