The kingdom of heaven is like what happens when someone finds a treasure hidden in a field and buries it again. Such a person is happy and goes and sells everything in order to buy that field.

All who have given up home or brothers and sisters or father and mother or children or land for me will be given 100 times as much. They will also have eternal life.

It's much better to be wise and sensible than to be rich.

I keep longing for death more than I would seek a valuable treasure.

The master praised his dishonest manager for looking out for himself so well. That's how it is! The people of this world look out for themselves better than the people who belong to the light.

For example, some people don't have friends or family. But they are never satisfied with what they own, and they never stop working to get more. They should ask themselves, “Why am I always working to have more? Who will get what I leave behind?” What a senseless and miserable life!

Invest in truth and wisdom, discipline and good sense, and don't part with them.

Your laws mean more to me than the finest gold.

I would rather obey you than to have a thousand pieces of silver and gold.

Obeying your instructions brings as much happiness as being rich.

They are worth more than the finest gold and are sweeter than honey from a honeycomb.

Beg as loud as you can for good common sense.

I love everyone who loves me, and I will be found by all who honestly search.

Later that same day Isaac's servants came and said, “We've struck water!”

The best thing about Wisdom is Wisdom herself; good sense is more important than anything else.
