Watching what you say can save you a lot of trouble.

Words can bring death or life! Talk too much, and you will eat everything you say.

Saying foolish things is like setting a trap to destroy yourself.

I told myself, “I'll be careful not to sin by what I say, and I'll muzzle my mouth when evil people are near.”

You will say the wrong thing if you talk too much— so be sensible and watch what you say.

Stay away from gossips— they tell everything.

If you think you are being religious, but can't control your tongue, you are fooling yourself, and your religion is useless.

We trap ourselves by telling lies, but we stay out of trouble by living right.

Then don't say cruel things and don't tell lies.

Help me to guard my words whenever I say something.

If you have good sense, you will learn all you can, but foolish talk will soon destroy you.

No matter how much you want, laziness won't help a bit, but hard work will reward you with more than enough.

Samson answered, “Use some new ropes. If I'm tied up with ropes that have never been used, I'll be just as weak as anyone else.”

Finally, Samson told her the truth. “I have belonged to God ever since I was born, so my hair has never been cut. If it were ever cut off, my strength would leave me, and I would be as weak as anyone else.”

If you have good sense, you will listen and obey; if all you do is talk foolishly, you will destroy yourself.

Proud fools are punished for their stupid talk, but sensible talk can save your life.
