As long as I can remember, good people have never been left helpless, and their children have never gone begging for food.

Trust the Lord and live right! The land will be yours, and you will be safe.

In times of trouble the wicked are destroyed, but even at death the innocent have faith.

When evil people see this, they angrily bite their tongues and disappear. They will never get what they really want.

and all their possessions will be dragged off when God becomes angry.

But you see the trouble and the distress, and you will do something. The poor can count on you, and so can orphans.

If you live right, you will have plenty to eat; if you don't live right, you will go away empty.

God cannot stand the prayers of anyone who disobeys his Law.

Selfish people cause trouble, but you will live a full life if you trust the Lord.

They scrounge around for food, all the while dreading the approaching darkness.
