Do this, because on the day of judgment there will be no pity for those who have not had pity on others. But even in judgment, God is merciful!

Listen carefully to what you hear! The way you treat others will be the way you will be treated—and even worse.

If you give to others, you will be given a full amount in return. It will be packed down, shaken together, and spilling over into your lap. The way you treat others is the way you will be treated.

The day is coming when I, the Lord, will judge the nations. And, Edom, you will pay in full for what you have done.

Treat her as she has treated others. Make her pay double for what she has done. Make her drink twice as much of what she mixed for others.

If you forgive others for the wrongs they do to you, your Father in heaven will forgive you.
