The renters grabbed the servant, beat him up, and sent him away without a thing.

Then the man sent another servant, and they killed him. He kept sending servant after servant. They beat some of them and killed some.

So the owner sent another servant. The renters also beat him up. They insulted him terribly and sent him away without a thing.

Hanun arrested David's officials and had their beards shaved off and their robes cut off just below the waist, and then he sent them away.

Our Lord and our God, your terrible enemies are ready for war, but you will crush their skulls.
