As thousands of people crowded around Jesus and were stepping on each other, he told his disciples: Be sure to guard against the dishonest teaching of the Pharisees! It is their way of fooling people.

Stop being hateful! Quit trying to fool people, and start being sincere. Don't be jealous or say cruel things about others.

But the wisdom that comes from above leads us to be pure, friendly, gentle, sensible, kind, helpful, genuine, and sincere.

Are you trying to fool someone? You can predict the weather by looking at the earth and sky, but you don't really know what's going on right now.

Godless people are too angry to ask God for help when he punishes them.

Such people are hopeless, and God All-Powerful will cut them down,

that sinful people are happy for only a while.

The king of Israel had put his chief officer in charge of the gate, but he died when the people trampled him as they rushed out of the city.

I told you the most important part of the message exactly as it was told to me. This part is: Christ died for our sins, as the Scriptures say.

Everyone who heard this praised God and said to Paul: My friend, you can see how many tens of thousands of our people have become followers! And all of them are eager to obey the Law of Moses.

But you are in for trouble! You are like unmarked graves that people walk on without even knowing it.

Jesus and his apostles went down from the mountain and came to some flat, level ground. Many other disciples were there to meet him. Large crowds of people from all over Judea, Jerusalem, and the coastal towns of Tyre and Sidon were there too.

News about Jesus kept spreading. Large crowds came to listen to him teach and to be healed of their diseases.

Jesus was standing on the shore of Lake Gennesaret, teaching the people as they crowded around him to hear God's message.

Those terrible sinners on Mount Zion tremble as they ask in fear, “How can we possibly live where a raging fire never stops burning?”

You have now come to Mount Zion and to the heavenly Jerusalem. This is the city of the living God, where thousands and thousands of angels have come to celebrate.
