But instead of staying in Nazareth, Jesus moved to Capernaum. This town was beside Lake Galilee in the territory of Zebulun and Naphtali.

God did not have pity on the angels that sinned. He had them tied up and thrown into the dark pits of hell until the time of judgment.

Then when you have been thrown outside, you will weep and grit your teeth because you will see Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the prophets in God's kingdom.

People of Capernaum, do you think you will be honored in heaven? You will go down to hell! If the miracles that took place in your town had happened in Sodom, it would still be standing.

Don't be afraid of people. They can kill you, but they cannot harm your soul. Instead, you should fear God who can destroy both your body and your soul in hell.

I will still bring you down, even if you fly higher than an eagle or nest among the stars. I, the Lord, have spoken!

They were not given a proper burial like the heroes of long ago, who were buried with their swords under their heads and with their shields over their bodies. These were the heroes who made their enemies panic.

You cannot escape! The enemy's sword is ready to slaughter every one of you.

Ezekiel, son of man, mourn for the Egyptians and condemn them to the world of the dead, where they will be buried alongside the people of other powerful nations.

King of Egypt, all these things will happen to you and your people! You were like this tree at one time—taller and stronger than anyone on earth. You will be sent down to the world of the dead, where you will join the godless and the other victims of violent death. I, the Lord God, have spoken.

Although Babylon's walls reach to the sky, the army I send will destroy that city. I, the Lord, have spoken.

The world of the dead has opened its mouth wide and is eagerly waiting for the leaders of Jerusalem and for its noisy crowds, especially for those who take pride in that city.

We are afraid, because the men who explored the land told us that the cities are large, with walls that reach to the sky. The people who live there are taller and stronger than we are, and some of them are Anakim. We have nowhere to go.”

He went to hell and was suffering terribly. When he looked up and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus at his side,
