I have told the priests what to do if any of you have leprosy, so do exactly what they say.

Jesus looked at them and said, “Go show yourselves to the priests.” On their way they were healed.

Jesus told him, “Don't tell anyone about this, but go and show yourself to the priest. Offer a gift to the priest, just as Moses commanded, and everyone will know that you have been healed.”

He said, “Don't tell anyone about this. Just go and show the priest that you are well. Then take a gift to the temple as Moses commanded, and everyone will know that you have been healed.”

You priests should be eager to spread knowledge, and everyone should come to you for instruction, because you speak for me, the Lord All-Powerful.

But I, the Lord, will cover their heads with sores, and I will uncover their private parts.

From your head to your toes there isn't a healthy spot. Bruises, cuts, and open sores go without care or oil to ease the pain.

Because of what you've done, Naaman's leprosy will now be on you and your descendants forever!” Suddenly, Gehazi's skin became white with leprosy, and he left.

Naaman was the commander of the Syrian army. The Lord had helped him and his troops defeat their enemies, so the king of Syria respected Naaman very much. Naaman was a brave soldier, but he had leprosy.

Joab and his family are the guilty ones. I pray that Joab's family will always be sick with sores and other skin diseases. May they all be cowards, and may they die in war or starve to death.”

The Lord will make you suffer with diseases that will cause oozing sores or crusty itchy patches on your skin or boils like the ones that are common in Egypt. And there will be no cure for you!

and the cloud disappeared from over the sacred tent, Miriam's skin turned white with leprosy. When Aaron saw what had happened to her,

First, you must say to a priest, “I think there is mildew on the wall of my house.”

Don't let Miriam's flesh rot away like a child born dead!”

The Lord told Moses and Aaron to say to the people:

If the priest discovers that the hair in the infected area has turned white and that the infection seems more than skin deep, he will say, “This is leprosy—you are unclean.”

If it is discovered that the disease has started spreading, he will say, “This is leprosy—you are unclean.”
