Jesus answered, “The light will be with you for only a little longer. Walk in the light while you can. Then you won't be caught walking blindly in the dark.

These are evil times, so make every minute count.

Jesus said: My food is to do what God wants! He is the one who sent me, and I must finish the work that he gave me to do.

Work hard at whatever you do. You will soon go to the world of the dead, where no one works or thinks or reasons or even knows anything.

We should help people whenever we can, especially if they are followers of the Lord.

I have brought glory to you here on earth by doing everything you gave me to do.

When you are with unbelievers, always make good use of the time.

But something more important than John speaks for me. I mean the things that the Father has given me to do! All of these speak for me and prove that the Father sent me.

But he said, “I have shown you many good things my Father sent me to do. Which one are you going to stone me for?”

If I don't do as my Father does, you should not believe me.

We cannot keep quiet about what we have seen and heard.”

Jesus told the people: I tell you for certain the Son cannot do anything on his own. He can do only what he sees the Father doing, and he does exactly what he sees the Father do.

But Jesus told them, “I will be with you a little while longer, and then I will return to the one who sent me.

“Because no one has hired us,” they answered. Then he told them to go work in his vineyard.

Jesus told the man to stand up where everyone could see him.
