The Lord God leads this army of countless troops, and they obey his commands. The day of his judgment is so terrible that no one can stand it.

On the day the Lord comes, he will be like a furnace that purifies silver or like strong soap in a washbasin. No one will be able to stand up to him.

Who can stand the heat of his furious anger? It flashes out like fire and shatters stones.

And so, in a single day she will suffer the pain of sorrow, hunger, and death. Fire will destroy her dead body, because her judge is the powerful Lord God.”

That terrible day has come! God and the Lamb will show their anger, and who can face it?”

From the heart of Jerusalem the Lord roars like a lion, shaking the earth and sky. But the Lord is a fortress, a place of safety for his people Israel.

My people, soon you will suffer worse than ever before, but I will save you.

Nations rage! Kingdoms fall! But at the voice of God the earth itself melts.

The day when the Lord judges will be dark, very dark, without a ray of light.

We are in for trouble! Soon the Lord All-Powerful will bring disaster.

But I, the Lord All-Powerful, will rescue and protect them. I will bring peace to their land and trouble to yours.

The Lord is marching out like an angry soldier, shouting with all his might while attacking his enemies.

Listen to the noisy crowds on the mountains! Kingdoms and nations are joining forces. The Lord All-Powerful is bringing together an army for battle.

“No one can survive if God plans destruction.

The sun will turn dark, and the moon will be as red as blood before that great and terrible day when I appear.

The Lord told me to say: From my sacred temple I will roar like thunder, while I trample my people and everyone else as though they were grapes.

You look forward to the day when the Lord comes to judge. But you are in for trouble! It won't be a time of sunshine; all will be darkness.

and I said: When the Lord roars from Jerusalem, pasturelands and Mount Carmel dry up and turn brown.

I, the Lord your God, will make up for the losses caused by those swarms and swarms of locusts I sent to attack you.

When I'm finished with you, your courage will disappear, and you will be so weak that you won't be able to lift your hands. I, the Lord, have spoken and will not change my mind.

When that time comes, the Lord will whistle, and armies will come from Egypt like flies and from Assyria like bees.

With a loud command and with the shout of the chief angel and a blast of God's trumpet, the Lord will return from heaven. Then those who had faith in Christ before they died will be raised to life.

A powerful nation with countless troops has invaded our land. They have the teeth and jaws of powerful lions.

Sound the trumpet on Zion, the Lord's sacred hill. Warn everyone to tremble! The judgment day of the Lord is coming soon.

It will be dark and gloomy with storm clouds overhead. Troops will cover the mountains like thunderclouds. No army this powerful has ever been gathered before or will be gathered again.

Crowds fill Decision Valley. The judgment day of the Lord will soon be here—

The day is coming when I, the Lord, will judge the nations. And, Edom, you will pay in full for what you have done.

You scattered your enemies with arrows of lightning.

When you climbed the high mountain, you took prisoners with you and were given gifts. Your enemies didn't want you to live there, but they gave you gifts.
