If medicine and doctors may be found in Gilead, why aren't my people healed?

It disgusted him even more to learn that no one would do a thing about it. So with his own powerful arm, he won victories for truth.

From your head to your toes there isn't a healthy spot. Bruises, cuts, and open sores go without care or oil to ease the pain.

Even if you look, you won't see anyone who cares enough to walk beside me. There is no place to hide, and no one who really cares.

You were angry and started to destroy them, but Moses, your chosen leader, begged you not to do it.

When God does nothing, can any person or nation find fault with him?

He may cause injury and pain, but he will bandage and heal your cuts and bruises.

Don't you understand? I am the only God; there are no others. I am the one who takes life and gives it again. I punished you with suffering. But now I will heal you, and nothing can stop me!

Then he said, “I am the Lord your God, and I cure your diseases. If you obey me by doing right and by following my laws and teachings, I won't punish you with the diseases I sent on the Egyptians.”

You, Lord, are the one I praise. So heal me and rescue me! Then I will be completely well and perfectly safe.

Have you rejected Judah, Lord? Do you hate Jerusalem? Why did you strike down Judah with a fatal wound? We had hoped for peace and a time of healing, but all we got was terror.

Evil pours from your city like water from a spring. Sounds of injustice and violence echo within your walls; victims are everywhere, wounded and dying.

Ezekiel, son of man, I, the Lord, have defeated the king of Egypt! I broke his arm, and no one has wrapped it or put it in a sling, so that it could heal and get strong enough to hold a sword.

Zion, how can I comfort you? How great is your pain? Lovely city of Jerusalem, how can I heal your wounds, gaping as wide as the sea?
