Even if your army has horses ready for battle, the Lord will always win.

One generation after another has set up pagan altars and worshiped the goddess Asherah everywhere in your country— on hills and mountains, and under large trees.

The Lord says: Celebrate and sing for Israel, the greatest of nations. Offer praises and shout, “Come and rescue your people, Lord! Save what's left of Israel.”

A time is coming when the survivors from Israel and Judah will completely depend on the holy Lord of Israel, instead of the nation that defeated them.
