Isaiah 6:1

In the year that King Uzziah died, I had a vision of the Lord. He was on his throne high above, and his robe filled the temple.

Isaiah said this, because he saw the glory of Jesus and spoke about him.

The temple quickly filled with smoke from the glory and power of God. No one could enter it until the seven angels had finished pouring out the seven last troubles.

Thrones were set up while I was watching, and the Eternal God took his place. His clothing and his hair were white as snow. His throne was a blazing fire with fiery wheels,

No one can compare with the Lord our God. His throne is high above,

When the Son of Man comes in his glory with all his angels, he will sit on his royal throne.

No one has ever seen God. The only Son, who is truly God and is closest to the Father, has shown us what God is like.

Only God lives forever! And he lives in light that no one can come near. No human has ever seen God or ever can see him. God will be honored, and his power will last forever. Amen.

Micaiah replied: Listen to this! I also saw the Lord seated on his throne with every creature in heaven gathered around him.

Our holy God lives forever in the highest heavens, and this is what he says: Though I live high above in the holy place, I am here to help those who are humble and depend only on me.

I am Isaiah, the son of Amoz. And this is the message that I was given about Judah and Jerusalem when Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah were the kings of Judah:

At the same time the 24 elders knelt down before the one sitting on the throne. And as they worshiped the one who lives forever, they placed their crowns in front of the throne and said,

The one who was sitting there sparkled like precious stones of jasper and carnelian. A rainbow that looked like an emerald surrounded the throne.

The living creatures kept praising, honoring, and thanking the one who sits on the throne and who lives forever and ever.

I saw a great white throne with someone sitting on it. Earth and heaven tried to run away, but there was no place for them to go.

Micaiah replied: I then saw the Lord seated on his throne with every creature in heaven gathered around him.

and the brightness of the Lord's glory moved from above the creatures and stopped at the entrance of the temple. The entire temple was filled with his glory, and the courtyard was dazzling bright.

I am merely your servant. How can I possibly speak with someone so powerful, when I am almost too weak to get my breath?”

Moses and Aaron, together with Nadab and Abihu and the 70 leaders, went up the mountain

I heard about you from others; now I have seen you with my own eyes.
