Later, I will give my Spirit to everyone. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your old men will have dreams, and your young men will see visions.

He led us through the desert and made water flow from a rock to satisfy our thirst.

Your nation would be blessed with more people than there are grains of sand along the seashore. And I would never have let your country be destroyed.

If you are thirsty, come and drink water! If you don't have any money, come, eat what you want! Drink wine and milk without paying a cent.

because I will put my Spirit in you and make you eager to obey my laws and teachings.

The man said: This water flows eastward to the Jordan River valley and empties into the Dead Sea, where it turns the salt water into fresh water.

Plow your fields, scatter seeds of justice, and harvest faithfulness. Worship me, the Lord, and I will send my saving power down like rain.

A few of Jacob's descendants survived and are scattered among the nations. But the Lord will let them cover the earth like dew and rain that refreshes the soil.

I, the Lord, will protect it and always keep it watered. I will guard it day and night to keep it from harm.

Israel, you will know that I stand at your side. I am the Lord your God— there are no other gods. Never again will you be put to shame.

At that time I, the Lord, will make Judah and Jerusalem prosperous again.
