You are headed for trouble! You say wrong is right, darkness is light, and bitter is sweet.

Then everyone will once again see the difference between those who obey me by doing right and those who reject me by doing wrong.

They hate worthless people, but show respect for all who worship the Lord. And they keep their promises, no matter what the cost.

Don't pay any attention to that good-for-nothing Nabal. His name means “fool,” and it really fits him! I didn't see the men you sent,

But all who are wicked will keep on strutting, while everyone praises their shameless deeds.

Cruel people tell lies— they do evil things, and make cruel plans to destroy the poor and needy, even when they beg for justice.
