Trust God, my friends, and always tell him each of your concerns. God is our place of safety.

Who is this coming from Bozrah in Edom with clothes stained red? Who is this hero marching in his glorious uniform? “It's me, the Lord! I have won the battle, and I can save you!”

Israel, you have forgotten the God who saves you, the one who is the mighty rock where you find protection. You plant the finest flowers to honor a foreign god.

God is much stronger than I am, and who would call me into court to give me justice?

because the Lord our God fights on our side. The Assyrians must rely on human power alone. These words encouraged the army of Judah.

But Israel, I, the Lord, will always keep you safe and free from shame.

Our Lord, you are King! Majesty and power are your royal robes. You put the world in place, and it will never be moved.

His mighty power rules forever, and nothing the nations do can be hidden from him. So don't turn against God.

Israel, you grew fat and rebelled against God, your Creator you rejected the Mighty Rock, your only place of safety.

The Lord is a mighty rock, and he never does wrong. God can always be trusted to bring justice.

The Lord's people will sing as they do when they celebrate a religious festival at night. The Lord is Israel's mighty rock, and his people will be as happy as they are when they follow the sound of flutes to the mountain where he is worshiped.

Don't tremble with fear! Didn't I tell you long ago? Didn't you hear me? I alone am God— no one else is a mighty rock.

Those who live across the sea are eagerly waiting for me to rescue them. I am strong and ready; soon I will come to save and to rule all nations.

The God we worship can save us from you and your flaming furnace.

King Nebuchadnezzar said: Praise their God for sending an angel to rescue his servants! They trusted their God and refused to obey my commands. Yes, they chose to die rather than to worship or serve any god except their own.

The eternal God is our hiding place; he carries us in his arms. When God tells you to destroy your enemies, he will make them run.

We humans are only a breath; none of us are truly great. All of us together weigh less than a puff of air.
