All of us have sinned and fallen short of God's glory.

But if you speak against the Holy Spirit, you can never be forgiven. That sin will be held against you forever.

When broken branches fall to the ground, women pick them up to feed the fire. But these people are so stupid that the God who created them will show them no mercy.

Don't forgive the mean and evil way they have insulted the builders.”

Joshua said: The Lord is fearsome; he is the one true God, and I don't think you are able to worship and obey him in the ways he demands. You would have to be completely faithful, and if you sin or rebel, he won't let you get away with it.

Obeying these rules may seem to be the smart thing to do. They appear to make you love God more and to be very humble and to have control over your body. But they don't really have any power over our desires.

You know they plan to kill me. So get angry and punish them! Don't ever forgive their terrible crimes.

You smear on olive oil and all kinds of perfume to worship the god Molech. You even seek advice from spirits of the dead.

We humans are only a breath; none of us are truly great. All of us together weigh less than a puff of air.

Listen, no matter who you are, rich or poor.

Don't be cheated by people who make a show of acting humble and who worship angels. They brag about seeing visions. But it is all nonsense, because their minds are filled with selfish desires.

Lord God All-Powerful, you are the God of Israel. Punish the other nations and don't pity those terrible and rebellious people.

But the holy Lord God All-Powerful is praised, because he has shown who he is by bringing justice.
