Jerusalem, I will choose judges and advisors like those you had before. Your new name will be “Justice and Faithfulness.”

I will return to Jerusalem and live there on Mount Zion. Then Jerusalem will be known as my faithful city, and Zion will be known as my holy mountain.

I will give this land to Israel and Judah once again, and I will make them as strong as they were before.

But nothing unworthy will be allowed to enter. No one who is dirty-minded or who tells lies will be there. Only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life will be in the city.

and I will bring them to live in Jerusalem. They will be my people, and I will be their God, faithful to bring about justice.

The people of Israel who survive will live right and refuse to tell lies. They will eat and rest with nothing to fear.

Your people will live right and always own the land; they are the trees I planted to bring praise to me.

The descendants of enemies who hated and mistreated you will kneel at your feet. They will say, “You are Zion, the city of the Lord, the holy One of Israel.”

You, Lord, are above all others, and you live in the heavens. You have brought justice and fairness to Jerusalem;

Jerusalem, you are like an unfaithful wife. Once your judges were honest and your people lived right; now you are a city full of murderers.

I will purify each language and make those languages acceptable for praising me. Then, with hearts united, everyone will serve only me, the Lord.

Moses was very angry and said to the Lord, “Don't listen to these men! I haven't done anything wrong to them. I haven't taken as much as a donkey.”

You will be built on fairness with no fears of injustice; every one of your worries will be taken far from you.

Mount Zion in Jerusalem, guardian of my people, you will rule again.

Many people will come and say, “Let's go to the mountain of the Lord God of Jacob and worship in his temple.” The Lord will teach us his Law from Jerusalem, and we will obey him.
