While Abraham was still alive, he gave gifts to the sons of Hagar and Keturah. He also sent their sons to live in the east far from his son Isaac, and when Abraham died, he left everything to Isaac.

Sarah, my master's wife, didn't have any children until she was very old. Then she had a son, and my master has given him everything.

But now at last, God sent his Son to bring his message to us. God created the universe by his Son, and everything will someday belong to the Son.

God himself was pleased to live fully in his Son.

My friends, you were born because of this promise, just as Isaac was.

So if you belong to Christ, you are now part of Abraham's family, and you will be given what God has promised.

God did not keep back his own Son, but he gave him for us. If God did this, won't he freely give us everything else?

His Spirit lets us know that together with Christ we will be given what God has promised. We will also share in the glory of Christ, because we have suffered with him.

The Father loves the Son and has given him everything.

Jesus came to them and said: I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth!

My Father has given me everything, and he is the only one who knows the Son. The only one who truly knows the Father is the Son. But the Son wants to tell others about the Father, so they can know him too.

When you climbed the high mountain, you took prisoners with you and were given gifts. Your enemies didn't want you to live there, but they gave you gifts.

And you gave him power over all people, so he would give eternal life to everyone you give him.

The Lord has been good to my master and has made him very rich. He has given him many sheep, goats, cattle, camels, and donkeys, as well as a lot of silver and gold, and many slaves.

Midian also had five sons: Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida, and Eldaah.

In fact, the Philistines were jealous of the large number of sheep, goats, and slaves that Isaac owned,
