Wisdom is like having two good eyes; foolishness leaves you in the dark. But wise or foolish, we all end up the same.

We see that wise people die, and so do stupid fools. Then their money is left for someone else.

Anyone with wisdom knows what makes good sense, but fools can never make up their minds.

Here is something else I have learned: The fastest runners and the greatest heroes don't always win races and battles. Wisdom, intelligence, and skill don't always make you healthy, rich, or popular. We each have our own share of misfortune.

If we hate others, we are living and walking in the dark. We don't know where we are going, because we can't see in the dark.

Like animals we breathe and die, and we are no better off than they are. It just doesn't make sense.

So I decided that wisdom is better than strength. Yet if you are poor, no one pays any attention to you, no matter how smart you are.

Who is smart enough to explain everything? Wisdom makes you cheerful and gives you a smile.

It's better to go to a funeral than to attend a feast; funerals remind us that we all must die.

even if you live two thousand years and don't enjoy life. As you know, we all end up in the same place.

Wise people have enough sense to find their way, but stupid fools get lost.

They are worth more than the finest gold and are sweeter than honey from a honeycomb.

Wise or foolish, we all die and are soon forgotten.”

The grave will be their home forever and ever, although they once had land of their own.

We may be sensible, yet we are no better off than a fool. And if we are poor, it still doesn't do us any good to try to live right.
