But you, Israel's God, created all things, and you chose Israel to be your very own. Your name is the Lord All-Powerful.

But the Lord, Israel's God, is all-powerful. He created everything, and he chose Israel to be his very own.

When you brought our ancestors out of Egypt, you told your servant Moses to say to them, “From all people on earth, the Lord God has chosen you to be his very own.”

Remember, they are the people you chose and rescued from Egypt that was like a blazing fire to them.

I made them my own nation, so they would praise me.

He chose the family of Jacob and the people of Israel for his very own.

and from caring for lambs. Then God made him the leader of Israel, his own nation.

My prayer is that light will flood your hearts and you will understand the hope given to you when God chose you. Then you will discover the glorious blessings that will be yours together with all God's people.

We are Israelites, and we want peace! You can trust us. Why are you trying to destroy a town that's like a mother in Israel? Why do you want to wipe out the Lord's people?”

The Lord blesses each nation that worships only him. He blesses his chosen ones.

Let me prosper with the rest of your chosen ones, as they celebrate with pride because they belong to you.

then the Lord All-Powerful will bless them by saying, “The Egyptians are my people. I created the Assyrians and chose the Israelites.”

The Lord has decided where they each should live; they will be there forever, generation after generation.

I brought you here to my land, where food is abundant, but you made my land filthy with your sins.
