The king was relieved to hear Daniel's voice, and he gave orders for him to be taken out of the pit. Daniel's faith in his God had kept him from being harmed.

Whenever these soldiers went to war against their enemies, they prayed to God and trusted him to help. That's why the tribes of Reuben, Gad, and East Manasseh defeated the Hagrites and their allies.

“But I see four men walking around in the fire,” the king replied. “None of them is tied up or harmed, and the fourth one looks like a god.”

Jesus replied, “Why do you say ‘if you can’? Anything is possible for someone who has faith!”

All night long the king could not sleep. He did not eat anything, and he would not let anyone come in to entertain him.

Their faith helped them conquer kingdoms, and because they did right, God made promises to them. They closed the jaws of lions

The king was really upset to hear about this, and for the rest of the day he tried to think how he could save Daniel.

Hiram was so happy when he heard Solomon's request that he said, “I am grateful that the Lord gave David such a wise son to be king of that great nation!”

Jethro was so pleased to hear this good news about what the Lord had done,

The God we worship can save us from you and your flaming furnace.

I do what you want and never turn to do evil.
