“Look, you people who make fun of God! Be amazed and disappear. I will do something today that you won't believe, even if someone tells you about it!”

Look and be amazed at what's happening among the nations! Even if you were told, you would never believe what's taking place now.

God has already begun judging his own people. And if his judgment begins with us, imagine how terrible it will be for those who refuse to obey his message. The Scriptures say,

and shout, “I hated advice and correction!

They keep us from speaking his message to the Gentiles and from leading them to be saved. They have always gone too far with their sins. Now God has finally become angry and will punish them.

The Lord has given us this command, “I have placed you here as a light for the Gentiles. You are to take the saving power of God to people everywhere on earth.”

But the Lord told me to go, and he promised to send me far away to the Gentiles.

The Pharisees really loved money. So when they heard what Jesus said, they made fun of him.

I, the Lord God, promise to see that you are killed and that my chosen servants use your names as curse words. But I will give new names to my servants.

You will go up in flames like straw and hay! You have rejected the teaching of the holy Lord God All-Powerful of Israel. Now your roots will rot, and your blossoms will turn to dust.

No one who disobeys this prophet will be one of God's people any longer.”

We have heard him claim that Jesus from Nazareth will destroy this place and change the customs Moses gave us.”

If you do warn them, and they keep sinning, they will die because of their sins, and you will be innocent.
