The Lord our God hasn't explained the present or the future, but he has commanded us to obey the laws he gave to us and our descendants.

You control human events— you give rulers their power and take it away, and you are the source of wisdom and knowledge.

Then when the time is right, God will do all he has planned, and Christ will bring together everything in heaven and on earth.

Some of them will be killed by swords. Others will be carried off to foreign countries. Jerusalem will be overrun by foreign nations until their time comes to an end.

You can be certain that in the last days there will be some very hard times.

The glorious God is the only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords. At the time that God has already decided, he will send Jesus Christ back again.

From one person God made all nations who live on earth, and he decided when and where every nation would be.

Jesus replied, “You certainly will drink from my cup! But it isn't for me to say who will sit at my right side and at my left. This is for my Father to say.”

Why doesn't God set a time for court? Why don't his people know where he can be found?
