“How long are you going to stay drunk?” he asked. “Sober up!”

Stop being bitter and angry and mad at others. Don't yell at one another or curse each other or ever be rude.

We are part of the same body. Stop lying and start telling each other the truth.

How long will you lie there doing nothing at all? When are you going to get up and stop sleeping?

Never tell lies or be deceitful in what you say.

I feel like a shaky fence or a sagging wall. How long will all of you attack and assault me?

If you return to God and turn from sin, all will go well for you.

and give up your sins— even those you do in secret.

How long will you talk and keep saying nothing?

The Holy Spirit took control of everyone, and they began speaking whatever languages the Spirit let them speak.

Others made fun of the Lord's followers and said, “They are drunk.”
