Shemaiah was the father of Othni, Rephael, Obed, Elzabad, Elihu, and Semachiah. They were all respected leaders in their clan.

As a good soldier of Christ Jesus you must endure your share of suffering.

Fight a good fight for the faith and claim eternal life. God offered it to you when you clearly told about your faith, while so many people listened.

Altogether, there were 128 brave warriors from their clans, and their leader was Zabdiel son of Haggedolim.
