God is no mere human! He doesn't tell lies or change his mind. God always keeps his promises.

I am on my way to visit you for the third time. And as the Scriptures say, “Any charges must be proved true by at least two or three witnesses.”

The sky and the earth won't last forever, but my words will.

The four angels had been prepared for this very hour and day and month and year. Now they were set free to kill a third of all people.

But it is just as the Scriptures say, “What God has planned for people who love him is more than eyes have seen or ears have heard. It has never even entered our minds!”

But it isn't for me to say who will sit at my right side and at my left. This is for God to decide.”

Then the king will say to those on his left, “Get away from me! You are under God's curse. Go into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels!

Then the king will say to those on his right, “My father has blessed you! Come and receive the kingdom that was prepared for you before the world was created.

Long ago the Lord got a place ready for burning the body of the dead king. The place for the fire is deep and wide, the wood is piled high, and the Lord will start the fire by breathing out flaming sulfur.

Joseph later had another dream, and he told his brothers, “Listen to what else I dreamed. The sun, the moon, and eleven stars bowed down to me.”

We were out in the field, tying up bundles of wheat. Suddenly my bundle stood up, and your bundles gathered around and bowed down to it.”

Joseph replied: Your Majesty, both of your dreams mean the same thing, and in them God has shown what he is going to do.

It is just as I said—God has shown what he intends to do.

The famine will be so bad that no one will remember that once there had been plenty.
