Instead, I will make sure that your crops are planted in peace and your vineyards are fruitful, that your fields are fertile and the dew falls from the sky.

Descendants of Joseph, the LORD will bless you with precious water from deep wells and with dew from the sky.

God will bless you, my son, with dew from heaven and with fertile fields, rich with grain and grapes.

But more than anything else, put God's work first and do what he wants. Then the other things will be yours as well.

This may seem impossible for my people who are left, but it isn't impossible for me, the LORD All-Powerful.

Isaac planted grain and had a good harvest that same year. The LORD blessed him,

I will bring my people Israel home, and they will live on you mountains, because you belong to them, and your fertile slopes will never again let them starve.

An angry king roars like a lion, but when a king is pleased, it's like dew on the crops.

Let peace and justice rule every mountain and hill.

Israel, you will live in safety; your enemies will be gone. The dew will fall from the sky, and you will have plenty of grain and wine.

Israel, I will teach you. My words will be like gentle rain on tender young plants, or like dew on the grass.

Elijah was a prophet from Tishbe in Gilead. One day he went to King Ahab and said, "I'm a servant of the living LORD, the God of Israel. And I swear in his name that it won't rain until I say so. There won't even be any dew on the ground."

Our LORD, you will bless us; our land will produce wonderful crops.

And so, all of you will vanish like the mist or the dew of early morning, or husks of grain in the wind or smoke from a chimney.

Today you have completed the foundation for my temple, so listen to what your future will be like.

My people will come to Mount Zion and celebrate; their faces will glow because of my blessings. I'll give them grain, grapes, and olive oil, as well as sheep and cattle. Israel will be prosperous and grow like a garden with plenty of water.

Foreign nations will never again rob them, and wild animals will no longer kill and eat them. They will have nothing to fear.

I will take care of you by plowing your soil and planting crops on your fertile slopes.

In answer to their prayers he said, "I will give you enough grain, wine, and olive oil to satisfy your needs. No longer will I let you be insulted by the nations.

The people of Israel who survive will live right and refuse to tell lies. They will eat and rest with nothing to fear.

I will also stop locusts from destroying your crops and keeping your vineyards from producing.
