Mordecai found out about their plans and asked Queen Esther to tell the king what he had found out.

You have not explained all of your mysteries,

Have you ever been present when God's council meets? Do you alone have wisdom?

and he will do exactly what he intends with me.

These things are merely a whisper of God's power at work. How little we would understand if this whisper ever turned into thunder!

So why do you challenge God to answer you?

Tell us what to say to God! Our minds are in the dark, and we don't know how to argue our case.

God cannot be seen-- but his power is great, and he is always fair.

His miracles are marvelous, more than we can count.

Of all the miracles God works, we cannot understand a one.

I can't understand all of this! Such wonderful knowledge is far above me.

You are wonderful, LORD, and you deserve all praise, because you are much greater than anyone can understand.

Your decisions are always fair. They are firm like mountains, deep like the sea, and all people and animals are under your care.

You, LORD God, have done many wonderful things, and you have planned marvelous things for us. No one is like you! I would never be able to tell all you have done.

You walked through the water of the mighty sea, but your footprints were never seen.

You do great things, LORD. Your thoughts are too deep

Dark clouds surround him, and his throne is supported by justice and fairness.

God is praised for being mysterious; rulers are praised for explaining mysteries.

Who can fully understand the thoughts of a ruler? They reach beyond the sky and go deep in the earth.

God makes everything happen at the right time. Yet none of us can ever fully understand all he has done, and he puts questions in our minds about the past and the future.

The truth is beyond us. It's far too deep.

I saw everything God does, and I realized that no one can really understand what happens. We may be very wise, but no matter how much we try or how much we claim to know, we cannot understand it all.

This wonderful knowledge comes from the LORD All-Powerful, who has such great wisdom.

Don't you know? Haven't you heard? The LORD is the eternal God, Creator of the earth. He never gets weary or tired; his wisdom cannot be measured.

To him the nations are far less than nothing; God controls the stars in the sky and everyone on this earth. When God does something, we cannot change it or even ask why."

You surely don't think much of God's wonderful goodness or of his patience and willingness to put up with you. Don't you know that the reason God is good to you is because he wants you to turn to him?

He did this by showing how glorious he is when he has pity on the people he has chosen to share in his glory.

God's Spirit has shown you everything. His Spirit finds out everything, even what is deep in the mind of God.

Christ sacrificed his life's blood to set us free, which means that our sins are now forgiven. Christ did this because God was so kind to us. God has great wisdom and understanding,

God did this so that in the future world he could show how truly good and kind he is to us because of what Christ Jesus has done.

Then God would use the church to show the powers and authorities in the spiritual world that he has many different kinds of wisdom.

God is wonderful and glorious. I pray that his Spirit will make you become strong followers

I pray that you and all of God's people will understand what is called wide or long or high or deep.

I am the least important of all God's people. But God was kind and chose me to tell the Gentiles that because of Christ there are blessings that cannot be measured.

God did this because he wanted you Gentiles to understand his wonderful and glorious mystery. And the mystery is that Christ lives in you, and he is your hope of sharing in God's glory.
