I am your servant, and you know my thoughts. What else can I say, except that you have honored me?

Solomon, my son, worship God and obey him with all your heart and mind, just as I have done. He knows all your thoughts and your reasons for doing things, and so if you turn to him, he will hear your prayers. But if you ignore him, he will reject you forever.

And so, each of us must give an account to God for what we do.

All of our thoughts are known to God. He can understand what is in the mind of the Spirit, as the Spirit prays for God's people.

After all, Christ will judge each of us for the good or the bad that we do while living in these bodies.

We each must carry our own load.

And when the rest of Israel hears about it, they will be afraid, and no one else will ever do such an evil thing again.

When other Israelites hear about it, they will be afraid and obey the decisions of the court.

The men of the town will stone that son to death, because they must get rid of the evil he brought into the community. Everyone in Israel will be afraid when they hear how he was punished.

Nothing is hidden from God! He sees through everything, and we will have to tell him the truth.

You say that God is your Father, but God doesn't have favorites! He judges all people by what they do. So you must honor God while you live as strangers here on earth.

If you have ears, listen to what the Spirit says to the churches. Whoever wins the victory will not be hurt by the second death.

I also saw all the dead people standing in front of that throne. Every one of them was there, no matter who they had once been. Several books were opened, and then the book of life was opened. The dead were judged by what those books said they had done.

But the LORD told him, "Samuel, don't think Eliab is the one just because he's tall and handsome. He isn't the one I've chosen. People judge others by what they look like, but I judge people by what is in their hearts."
