Why do you keep looking away? Don't forget our sufferings and all of our troubles.
Why have you turned your back and count me your enemy?
Why are you far away, LORD? Why do you hide yourself when I am in trouble?
They say, "God can't see! He's got on a blindfold."
(A psalm by David for the music leader.) How much longer, LORD, will you forget about me? Will it be forever? How long will you hide?
Fight to defend me, Lord God,
You are my mighty rock. Why have you forgotten me? Why must enemies mistreat me and make me sad?

Don't forget the loud shouts of your enemies.
Wake up! Do something, LORD. Be strong and ready. Wake up! Do what you did for our people long ago. Didn't you chop up Rahab the monster?
and said, "You are unfaithful and can't be trusted. So I won't answer your prayers; I'll just watch and see what happens to you.
