If I knew where to find God, I would go there

I ask only one thing, LORD: Let me live in your house every day of my life to see how wonderful you are and to pray in your temple.

Then I will worship at your altar because you make me joyful. You are my God, and I will praise you. Yes, I will praise you as I play my harp.

(A psalm by David when he was in the desert of Judah.) You are my God. I worship you. In my heart, I long for you, as I would long for a stream in a scorching desert.

Your love means more than life to me, and I praise you.

One day in your temple is better than a thousand anywhere else. I would rather serve in your house, than live in the homes of the wicked.

Deep in my heart I long for your temple, and with all that I am I sing joyful songs to you.

You bless everyone who lives in your house, and they sing your praises.

Your people grow stronger, and you, the God of gods, will be seen in Zion.

Your men must come to these three festivals each year to worship me.

You are the one we trust to bring about justice; above all else we want your name to be honored.

You, LORD, are the only true and living God. You will rule for all time. When you are angry the earth shakes, and nations are destroyed.

You, my people, have sinned in two ways-- you have rejected me, the source of life-giving water, and you've tried to collect water in cracked and leaking pits dug in the ground.

I command everyone in my kingdom to worship and honor the God of Daniel. He is the living God, the one who lives forever. His power and his kingdom will never end.

The Father has the power to give life, and he has given that same power to the Son.

On the last and most important day of the festival, Jesus stood up and shouted, "If you are thirsty, come to me and drink!

Everyone is talking about how you welcomed us and how you turned away from idols to serve the true and living God.

The Canaanites, the Hittites, the Hivites, the Perizzites, the Girgashites, the Amorites, and the Jebusites control the land on the other side of the river. But the living God will be with you and will force them out of the land when you attack. And now, God is going to prove that he's powerful enough to force them out.

The angel showed me a river that was crystal clear, and its waters gave life. The river came from the throne where God and the Lamb were seated.
