You are God, and you will rule forever as king. Your royal power brings about justice.

God shines brightly from Zion, the most beautiful city.

Instead he chose the tribe of Judah, and he chose Mount Zion, the place he loves.

"I have chosen David as my first-born son, and he will be the ruler of all kings on earth.

I made him the leader and ruler of the nations; he was my witness to them.

Someday, I, the LORD, will cut a tender twig from the top of a cedar tree, then plant it on the peak of Israel's tallest mountain, where it will grow strong branches and produce large fruit.

During the time of those kings, the God who rules from heaven will set up an eternal kingdom that will never fall. It will be like the stone that was cut from the mountain, but not by human hands--the stone that crushed the iron, bronze, clay, silver, and gold. Your Majesty, in your dream the great God has told you what is going to happen, and you can trust this interpretation.

I will return to Jerusalem and live there on Mount Zion. Then Jerusalem will be known as my faithful city, and Zion will be known as my holy mountain.

Jesus came to them and said: I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth!

God has put all things under the power of Christ, and for the good of the church he has made him the head of everything.

You have now come to Mount Zion and to the heavenly Jerusalem. This is the city of the living God, where thousands and thousands of angels have come to celebrate.

I looked and saw the Lamb standing on Mount Zion! With him were a hundred forty-four thousand, who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads.
