Go only to the people of Israel, because they are like a flock of lost sheep.
Jesus said, "I was sent only to the people of Israel! They are like a flock of lost sheep."
Let me ask you this. What would you do if you had a hundred sheep and one of them wandered off? Wouldn't you leave the ninety-nine on the hillside and go look for the one that had wandered away?
Jesus heard them and answered, "Healthy people don't need a doctor, but sick people do.
This son of mine was dead, but has now come back to life. He was lost and has now been found." And they began to celebrate.
But we should be glad and celebrate! Your brother was dead, but he is now alive. He was lost and has now been found."
The Son of Man came to look for and to save people who are lost."
Then they all went on to another village.
A thief comes only to rob, kill, and destroy. I came so that everyone would have life, and have it in its fullest.
I am not the one who will judge those who refuse to obey my teachings. I came to save the people of this world, not to be their judge.
God did not send his Son into the world to condemn its people. He sent him to save them!
"Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners." This saying is true, and it can be trusted. I was the worst sinner of all!
