What makes you so concerned about us humans?
And so, I ask you, God, why pick on me?
What use are we humans to God, even the wisest of us?
So how can we humans, when we are merely worms?
Am I the sea or a sea monster? Is that why you imprison me?
Why do we humans mean anything to you, our LORD? Why do you care about us?
Then I ask, "Why do you care about us humans? Why are you concerned for us weaklings?"
You made us a little lower than you yourself, and you have crowned us with glory and honor.
Somewhere in the Scriptures someone says to God, "What makes you care about us humans? Why are you concerned for weaklings such as we?
Why should the king of Israel be out chasing me, anyway? I'm as worthless as a dead dog or a flea.
