There's no way a human can be completely pure.

No human is pure and innocent,

How can anyone be innocent in the sight of God?

After all, God is the one who gave life to each of us before we were born.

if I did, my Creator would quickly destroy me!

But after their Creator helps them through hard times, they forget about him,

Job, are you really innocent in the sight of God?

God always does right-- and this knowledge comes straight from God.

It stopped and stood still. Then a form appeared-- a shapeless form. And from the silence, I heard a voice say,

Are you trying to prove that you are innocent by accusing me of injustice?

Does God All-Powerful stand in the way of justice?

What you say is true. No human is innocent in the sight of God.

I am your servant. Don't try me in your court, because no one is innocent by your standards.

Our LORD, everything you do is kind and thoughtful,

No one in this world always does right.

Whenever I complain to you, LORD, you are always fair. But now I have questions about your justice. Why is life easy for sinners? Why are they successful?

You people of Judah are so deceitful that you even fool yourselves, and you can't change.

Who can measure the wealth and wisdom and knowledge of God? Who can understand his decisions or explain what he does?

But you are stubborn and refuse to turn to God. So you are making things even worse for yourselves on that day when he will show how angry he is and will judge the world with fairness.

But, my friend, I ask, "Who do you think you are to question God? Does the clay have the right to ask the potter why he shaped it the way he did?

Each of the four living creatures had six wings, and their bodies were covered with eyes. Day and night they never stopped singing, "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord, the all-powerful God, who was and is and is coming!"
