So much foolish talk cannot go unanswered.

and let you know that wisdom has many different sides. You would then discover that God has punished you less than you deserve.

Job, if you had any sense,

But none of my friends show any sense.

My friends won't really listen, all because of you, and so you must be the one to prove them wrong.

You have accused and insulted me, and reason requires a reply.

You have given great advice and wonderful wisdom to someone truly in need.

The rich think highly of themselves, but anyone poor and sensible sees right through them.

You think you are clever and smart.

Because of Christ we are thought of as fools, but Christ has made you wise. We are weak and hated, but you are powerful and respected.

I say this to your shame. Aren't any of you wise enough to act as a judge between one follower and another?
