But if you keep on carrying things through the city gates on the Sabbath and keep treating it as any other day, I will set fire to these gates and burn down the whole city, including the fortresses.

The people of Judah have rejected me. They have offered sacrifices to foreign gods and have worshiped their own idols. I cannot stand it any longer. I am furious.

Now I will send fire to wipe out the fortresses of Teman and Bozrah.

Now I will send fire to destroy the walls and fortresses of Rabbah. Enemies will shout and attack like a whirlwind.

Now I will burn down the palaces and fortresses of King Hazael and of King Benhadad.

That's why I will burn down the walls and fortresses of the city of Gaza.

Now I will send fire to destroy the fortresses of Kerioth. Battle shouts and trumpet blasts will be heard as I destroy Moab

"My people, I will breathe out fire that sends you down to the world of the dead. It will scorch your farmlands and burn deep down under the mountains.

Make sure that you obey the one who speaks to you. The people did not escape, when they refused to obey the one who spoke to them at Mount Sinai. Do you think you can possibly escape, if you refuse to obey the one who speaks to you from heaven?
