Your descendants will be known in every nation. All who see them will realize that they have been blessed, by me, the LORD.

But Laban told him, "If you really are my friend, stay on, and I'll pay whatever you ask. I'm sure the LORD has blessed me because of you."

I pray that the LORD will let your family and your descendants always grow strong.

The LORD decided his servant would suffer as a sacrifice to take away the sin and guilt of others. Now the servant will live to see his own descendants. He did everything the LORD had planned.

Their work won't be wasted, and their children won't die of dreadful diseases. I will bless their children and their grandchildren.

I also promise that you will always have descendants and will never be forgotten, just as the new heavens and the new earth that I create will last forever.

The LORD says: Celebrate and sing for Israel, the greatest of nations. Offer praises and shout, "Come and rescue your people, LORD! Save what's left of Israel."

People of Judah and Israel, you have been a curse to the nations, but I will save you and make you a blessing to them. So don't be afraid or lose courage.

Everyone of every nation will talk about how I have blessed you and about your wonderful land. I, the LORD All-Powerful, have spoken!

But God replied, "Don't go with Balak's messengers. I have blessed those people who have come from Egypt, so don't curse them."

God sent his chosen Son to you first, because God wanted to bless you and make each one of you turn away from your sins.
