I have given my people Israel a land of their own where they can live in peace, and they won't have to tremble with fear any more. Evil nations won't bother them, as they did

God lets you live in peace, and he gives you the very best wheat.

Nothing harmful will take place on the LORD's holy mountain. Just as water fills the sea, the land will be filled with people who know and honor the LORD.

He will settle arguments between nations. They will pound their swords and their spears into rakes and shovels; they will never make war or attack one another.

The time is coming when the people of Judah will sing this song: "Our city is protected. The LORD is our fortress, and he gives us victory.

Open the city gates for a law-abiding nation that is faithful to God.

You have been destroyed by war and by famine; I cannot comfort you.

You will be built on fairness with no fears of injustice; every one of your worries will be taken far from you.

Then I will set up monuments in my temple with your names written on them. This will be much better than having children, because these monuments will stand there forever.

Your gates will be open day and night to let the rulers of nations lead their people to you with all their treasures.

I will bring bronze and iron in place of wood and stone; in place of bronze and iron, I will bring gold and silver. I will appoint peace and justice as your rulers and leaders.

The LORD will bring about justice and praise in every nation on earth, like flowers blooming in a garden.

People of Jerusalem, open your gates! Repair the road to the city and clear it of stones; raise a banner to help the nations find their way.

Your name will no longer be "Deserted and Childless," but "Happily Married." You will please the LORD; your country will be his bride.

and not let him rest till he makes Jerusalem strong and famous everywhere.

and so the temple area was a perfect square. The wall around this area separated what was sacred from what was ordinary.

He will settle arguments between distant and powerful nations. They will pound their swords and their spears into rakes and shovels; they will never again make war or attack one another.

I will punish those who mistreat you. I will bring together the lame and the outcasts, then they will be praised, instead of despised, in every country on earth.

The LORD himself has promised to be a protective wall of fire surrounding Jerusalem, and he will be its shining glory in the heart of the city."

And so, he will put you in the power of your slaves, and they will raid and rob you. Then you will know that I am a prophet of the LORD All-Powerful.

God says, "I will stand guard to protect my temple from those who come to attack. I know what's happening, and no one will mistreat my people ever again."
