The LORD is always kind to those who worship him, and he keeps his promises to their descendants

Don't disappoint any of your worshipers, but disappoint all deceitful liars.

I trust you to save me, LORD God, and I won't be afraid. My power and my strength come from you, and you have saved me."

So always trust the LORD because he is forever our mighty rock.

The LORD who rescued Abraham has this to say about Jacob's descendants: "They will no longer be ashamed and disgraced.

you are the foundation on which we stand today. You always save us and give true wisdom and knowledge. Nothing means more to us than obeying you.

I, the LORD, will give victory and great honor to the people of Israel."

The kings and queens of those nations where they were raised will come and bow down. They will take care of you just like a slave taking care of a child. Then you will know that I am the LORD. You won't be disappointed if you trust me."

But the LORD God keeps me from being disgraced. So I refuse to give up, because I know God will never let me down.

Look closely at the sky! Stare at the earth. The sky will vanish like smoke; the earth will wear out like clothes. Everyone on this earth will die like flies. But my victory will last; my saving power never ends.

They will be eaten away like a moth-eaten coat. But my victory will last; my saving power will never end.

Don't be afraid or ashamed and don't be discouraged. You won't be disappointed. Forget how sinful you were when you were young; stop feeling ashamed for being left a widow.

For a while, I turned away in furious anger. Now I will have mercy and love you forever! I, your protector and LORD, make this promise."

You won't need the light of the sun or the moon. I, the LORD your God, will be your eternal light and bring you honor.

Some time ago, the LORD appeared to me and told me to say: Israel, I will always love you; that's why I've been so patient and kind.

In those days, Judah will be safe; Jerusalem will have peace and will be named, "The LORD Gives Justice."

But I am the LORD God of Judah, and I will have mercy and save Judah by my own power--not by wars and arrows or swords and cavalry."

But with shouts of praise, I will offer a sacrifice to you, my LORD. I will keep my promise, because you are the one with power to save.

When that time comes, you won't rebel against me and be put to shame. I'll do away with those who are proud and arrogant. Never will any of them strut around on my holy mountain.

and I give them eternal life, so that they will never be lost. No one can snatch them out of my hand.

I tell you for certain that everyone who hears my message and has faith in the one who sent me has eternal life and will never be condemned. They have already gone from death to life.

My Father wants everyone who sees the Son to have faith in him and to have eternal life. Then I will raise them to life on the last day.

The Scriptures say that no one who has faith will be disappointed,

In this way all of Israel will be saved, as the Scriptures say, "From Zion someone will come to rescue us. Then Jacob's descendants will stop being evil.

If you belong to Christ Jesus, you won't be punished.

just as God says in the Scriptures, "Look! I am placing in Zion a stone to make people stumble and fall. But those who have faith in that one will never be disappointed."

God our Father loves us. He is kind and has given us eternal comfort and a wonderful hope. We pray that our Lord Jesus Christ and God our Father

Suffering made Jesus perfect, and now he can save forever all who obey him.

It is just as God says in the Scriptures, "Look! I am placing in Zion a choice and precious cornerstone. No one who has faith in that one will be disappointed."

God stays one with everyone who openly says that Jesus is the Son of God. That's how we stay one with God
