You have not explained all of your mysteries,

If I knew where to find God, I would go there

to my left or my right. God is always at work, though I never see him.

Why do you keep looking away? Don't forget our sufferings and all of our troubles.

They come shouting, "People of Israel, praise the LORD God!"

You walked through the water of the mighty sea, but your footprints were never seen.

"No matter how much you pray, I won't listen. You are too violent.

I trust you to save me, LORD God, and I won't be afraid. My power and my strength come from you, and you have saved me."

These will remind the Egyptians that the LORD All-Powerful is with them. And when they are in trouble and ask for help, he will send someone to rescue them from their enemies.

I alone am the LORD; only I can rescue you.

I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, the God who saves you. I gave up Egypt, Ethiopia, and the region of Seba in exchange for you.

But Israel, I, the LORD, will always keep you safe and free from shame.

I will soon come to save you. I am not far away and will waste no time; I take pride in Israel and will save Jerusalem.

Your greed made me furious. That's why I punished you and refused to be found, while you kept returning to your old sinful ways.

You will drain the wealth of kings and foreign nations. You will know that I, the mighty LORD God of Israel, have saved and rescued you.

Meanwhile, I patiently trust the LORD, even though he is no longer pleased with Israel.

Jesus answered, "You don't really know what I am doing, but later you will understand."

You Samaritans don't really know the one you worship. But we Jews do know the God we worship, and by using us, God will save the world.

They told the woman, "We no longer have faith in Jesus just because of what you told us. We have heard him ourselves, and we are certain that he is the Savior of the world!"

God promised that someone from David's family would come to save the people of Israel, and that one is Jesus.

and made him our Leader and Savior. Then God gave him a place at his right side, so that the people of Israel would turn back to him and be forgiven.
