I will lead the blind on roads they have never known; I will guide them on paths they have never traveled. Their road is dark and rough, but I will give light to keep them from stumbling. This is my solemn promise.

You won't turn your back on your chosen nation.

If something is crooked, it can't be made straight; if something isn't there, it can't be counted.

Think of what God has done! If God makes something crooked, can you make it straight?

Our LORD, you always do right, and you make the path smooth for those who obey you.

The deaf will be able to hear whatever is read to them; the blind will be freed from a life of darkness.

Everyone who is confused will understand, and all who have complained will obey my teaching."

The LORD God is waiting to show how kind he is and to have pity on you. The LORD always does right; he blesses those who trust him.

Whether you turn to the right or to the left, you will hear a voice saying, "This is the road! Now follow it."

Then everyone who has eyes will open them and see, and those who have ears will pay attention.

The blind will see, and the ears of the deaf will be healed.

A good road will be there, and it will be named "God's Sacred Highway." It will be for God's people; no one unfit to worship God will walk on that road. And no fools can travel on that highway.

Fill in the valleys; flatten every hill and mountain. Level the rough and rugged ground.

When the poor and needy are dying of thirst and cannot find water, I, the LORD God of Israel, will come to their rescue. I won't forget them.

He goes after them so quickly that his feet barely touch the ground-- he doesn't even get hurt.

As I lead you, I will level mountains and break the iron bars on bronze gates of cities.

I create light and darkness, happiness and sorrow. I, the LORD, do all of this.

with this message: People of Israel, I am the holy LORD God, the one who rescues you. For your own good, I teach you, and I lead you along the right path.

You won't need to run. No one is chasing you. The LORD God of Israel will lead and protect you from enemy attacks.

I will teach your children and make them successful.

Give your food to the hungry and care for the homeless. Then your light will shine in the dark; your darkest hour will be like the noonday sun.

Then you will be called, 'The LORD's Own People, The Ones He Rescued!' Your city will be known as a good place to live and a city full of people."

You will be convinced that I, the LORD God, was right in doing what I did.

Israel, I, the LORD, will lure you into the desert and speak gently to you.

I, the LORD, will build a fence of thorns to block her path.

But the LORD created the stars and put them in place. He turns darkness to dawn and daylight to darkness; he scoops up the ocean and empties it on the earth.

Fill up every valley and level every mountain and hill. Straighten the crooked paths and smooth out the rough roads.

I want you to open their eyes, so that they will turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God. Then their sins will be forgiven, and by faith in me they will become part of God's holy people."

You used to be like people living in the dark, but now you are people of the light because you belong to the Lord. So act like people of the light

Don't fall in love with money. Be satisfied with what you have. The Lord has promised that he will not leave us or desert us.

But you are God's chosen and special people. You are a group of royal priests and a holy nation. God has brought you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Now you must tell all the wonderful things that he has done. The Scriptures say,
