In the future, the mountain with the LORD's temple will be the highest of all. It will reach above the hills; every nation will rush to it.

Jacob called his sons together and said: My sons, I am Jacob, your father Israel.

I know that my Savior lives, and at the end he will stand on this earth.

I should still be strong, but you, LORD, have made an old person of me.

Ask me for the nations, and every nation on earth will belong to you.

Everyone on this earth will remember you, LORD. People all over the world will turn and worship you,

because you are in control, the ruler of all nations.

beautiful and majestic, brings joy to all on earth. Mount Zion, truly sacred, is home for the Great King.

When you, LORD God, appeared to your people at Sinai, you came with thousands of mighty chariots.

Let his kingdom reach from sea to sea, from the Euphrates River across all the earth.

You created each nation, and they will all bow down to worship and honor you.

(A psalm and a song by the people of Korah.) Zion was built by the LORD on the holy mountain,

and he loves that city more than any other place in all of Israel.

The time is coming when one of David's descendants will be the signal for the people of all nations to come together. They will follow his advice, and his own nation will become famous.

On this mountain the LORD All-Powerful will prepare for all nations a feast of the finest foods. Choice wines and the best meats will be served.

A loud trumpet will be heard. Then the people of Israel who were dragged away to Assyria and Egypt will return to worship the LORD on his holy mountain in Jerusalem.

The LORD's people will sing as they do when they celebrate a religious festival at night. The LORD is Israel's mighty rock, and his people will be as happy as they are when they follow the sound of flutes to the mountain where he is worshiped.

Now the LORD says to me, "It isn't enough for you to be merely my servant. You must do more than lead back survivors from the tribes of Israel. I have placed you here as a light for other nations; you must take my saving power to everyone on earth."

Then I will set up monuments in my temple with your names written on them. This will be much better than having children, because these monuments will stand there forever.

I will bring them to my holy mountain, where they will celebrate in my house of worship. Their sacrifices and offerings will always be welcome on my altar. Then my house will be known as a house of worship for all nations.

Nations and kings will come to the light of your dawning day.

What will I, the LORD, do if any of you reject me and my holy mountain? What will happen to you for offering food and wine to the gods you call "Good Luck" and "Fate"?

They will bring your relatives from the nations as an offering to me, the LORD. They will come on horses, chariots, wagons, mules, and camels to Jerusalem, my holy mountain. It will be like the people of Israel bringing the right offering to my temple.

On the first day of each month and on each Sabbath, everyone will worship me. I, the LORD, have spoken.

Our LORD, you are the one who gives me strength and protects me like a fortress when I am in trouble. People will come to you from distant nations and say, "Our ancestors worshiped false and useless gods,

I won't calm down, until I have finished what I have decided to do. Someday you will understand exactly what I mean.

years ago when Hezekiah was king of Judah, a prophet named Micah from the town of Moresheth had said: "I, the LORD All-Powerful, say Jerusalem will be plowed under and left in ruins. Thorns will cover the mountain where the temple now stands."

The whole city of Jerusalem will be my throne. All nations will come here to worship me, and they will no longer follow their stubborn, evil hearts.

I won't calm down until I have finished what I have decided to do. Someday, you will understand what I mean.

My people will come to Mount Zion and celebrate; their faces will glow because of my blessings. I'll give them grain, grapes, and olive oil, as well as sheep and cattle. Israel will be prosperous and grow like a garden with plenty of water.

Yet someday, I will bring your people back home. I, the LORD, have spoken.

But I promise that someday I will bring your people back to their land.

I will punish Marduk, the god of Babylon, and make him vomit up everything he gobbled down. Then nations will no longer bring him gifts, and Babylon's walls will crumble.

You will attack my people like a storm-cloud that covers their land. I will let you invade my country Israel, so that every nation on earth will know that I, the LORD, am holy.

Now I have come here to give you another vision about what will happen to your people in the future.

But the God who rules from heaven can explain mysteries. And while you were sleeping, he showed you what will happen in the future.

Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were crushed and blown away without a trace, like husks of wheat at threshing time. But the stone became a tremendous mountain that covered the entire earth.

But later, Israel will turn back to the LORD their God and to David their king. At that time they will come to the LORD with fear and trembling, and he will be good to them.

From Geba down to Rimmon south of Jerusalem, the entire country will be turned into flatlands, with Jerusalem still towering above. Then the city will be full of people, from Benjamin Gate, Old Gate Place, and Hananel Tower in the northeast part of the city over to Corner Gate in the northwest and down to King's Wine Press in the south. Jerusalem will always be secure and will never again be destroyed.

Then there will be only one LORD who rules as King and whose name is worshiped everywhere on earth.

Many people from strong nations will come to Jerusalem to worship me and to ask me to treat them with kindness.

I will return to Jerusalem and live there on Mount Zion. Then Jerusalem will be known as my faithful city, and Zion will be known as my holy mountain.

Everyone of every nation will talk about how I have blessed you and about your wonderful land. I, the LORD All-Powerful, have spoken!

So I'm going back home, but I'm leaving you with a warning about what the Israelites will someday do to your nation."

"When the last days come, I will give my Spirit to everyone. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions, and your old men will have dreams.

You can be certain that in the last days there will be some very hard times.

But now at last, God sent his Son to bring his message to us. God created the universe by his Son, and everything will someday belong to the Son.

But first you must realize that in the last days some people won't think about anything except their own selfish desires. They will make fun of you

At the sound of the seventh trumpet, loud voices were heard in heaven. They said, "Now the kingdom of this world belongs to our Lord and to his Chosen One! And he will rule forever and ever!"

I saw thrones, and sitting on those thrones were the ones who had been given the right to judge. I also saw the souls of the people who had their heads cut off because they had told about Jesus and preached God's message. They were the same ones who had not worshiped the beast or the idol, and they had refused to let its mark be put on their hands or foreheads. They will come to life and rule with Christ for a thousand years.
