You said, "This is my home! I will live here forever.

Praise the LORD from Zion! He lives here in Jerusalem. Shout praises to the LORD!

God is in that city, and it won't be shaken. He will help it at dawn.

Why is it jealous of Zion, the mountain you chose as your home forever?

I will praise you, God, the Holy One of Israel. You are faithful. I will play the harp and sing your praises.

Our LORD and our King, the Holy One of Israel, you are truly our shield.

You rule from Zion, LORD, and we sing about you to let the nations know everything you have done.

You are praised in Zion, and you control all nations.

I am the LORD All-Powerful, the mighty ruler of Israel, and I make you a promise: You are now my enemy, and I will show my anger by taking revenge on you.

Now the LORD God All-Powerful says to his people in Jerusalem: The Assyrians will beat you with sticks and abuse you, just as the Egyptians did. But don't be afraid of them.

People in the west shout; they joyfully praise the majesty of the LORD.

The moon and sun will both be embarrassed and ashamed. The LORD All-Powerful will rule on Mount Zion in Jerusalem, where he will show its rulers his wonderful glory.

People of Jerusalem, you don't need to cry anymore. The Lord is kind, and as soon as he hears your cries for help, he will come.

Our wonderful LORD will be with us! There will be deep rivers and wide streams safe from enemy ships.

The LORD will forgive your sins, and none of you will say, "I feel sick."

There is good news for the city of Zion. Shout it as loud as you can from the highest mountain. Don't be afraid to shout to the towns of Judah, "Your God is here!"

People of Israel, don't worry, though others may say, "Israel is only a worm!" I am the holy God of Israel, who saves and protects you.

A strong wind will scatter them in all directions. Then you will celebrate and praise me, your LORD, the holy God of Israel.

He will make those cruel people dine on their own flesh and get drunk from drinking their own blood. Then everyone will know that the LORD is our Savior; the powerful God of Israel has rescued his people.

Sing and shout, even though you have never had children! The LORD has promised that you will have more children than someone married for a long time.

You will drain the wealth of kings and foreign nations. You will know that I, the mighty LORD God of Israel, have saved and rescued you.

My children and I are warning signs to Israel from the LORD All-Powerful, who lives on Mount Zion.

Our LORD, great and powerful, you alone are God.

You thought the nations of Judah and Israel belonged to you, and that you could take over their territory. But I am their God,

My people Israel will know me, and they will no longer disgrace my holy name. Everyone on earth will know that I am the holy LORD God of Israel.

Ezekiel, son of man, this temple is my throne on earth. I will live here among the people of Israel forever. They and their kings will never again disgrace me by worshiping idols at local shrines or by setting up memorials to their dead kings.

and so the total length of the wall will be six miles. The new name of the city will be "The-LORD-Is-Here!"

South of Judah's territory will be a special section of land. Its length will be eight miles, and its width will run from the eastern border of Israel west to the Mediterranean Sea. My temple will be located in this section of land.

Israel, I won't lose my temper and destroy you again. I am the Holy God-- not merely some human, and I won't stay angry.

Israel, you will know that I stand at your side. I am the LORD your God-- there are no other gods. Never again will you be put to shame.

To you people of Philistia who live along the coast, the LORD has this to say: "I am now your enemy, and I'll wipe you out!"

The LORD himself has promised to be a protective wall of fire surrounding Jerusalem, and he will be its shining glory in the heart of the city."

And so, he will put you in the power of your slaves, and they will raid and rob you. Then you will know that I am a prophet of the LORD All-Powerful.

Israel's king is the LORD God. He lives there with them and intends them no harm.

When runaway slaves from other countries come to Israel and ask for protection, you must not hand them back to their owners.
