Moses was a faithful servant and told God's people what would be said in the future.

You commanded them to respect your holy Sabbath, and you instructed your servant Moses to teach them your laws.

God sent his servant Moses. He also chose and sent Aaron

Because of the mighty power he had used against the Egyptians, the Israelites worshiped him and trusted him and his servant Moses.

Moses followed the LORD's instructions.

But my servant Moses is the leader of my people.

Who are faithful and wise servants? Who are the ones the master will put in charge of giving the other servants their food supplies at the proper time?

"Wonderful!" his master replied. "You are a good and faithful servant. I left you in charge of only a little, but now I will put you in charge of much more. Come and share in my happiness!"

Jesus then explained everything written about himself in the Scriptures, beginning with the Law of Moses and the Books of the Prophets.

Jesus said to them, "While I was still with you, I told you that everything written about me in the Law of Moses, the Books of the Prophets, and in the Psalms had to happen."

You search the Scriptures, because you think you will find eternal life in them. The Scriptures tell about me,

They agreed on a time to meet with Paul, and many of them came to his house. From early morning until late in the afternoon, Paul talked to them about God's kingdom. He used the Law of Moses and the Books of the Prophets to try to win them over to Jesus.

Moses is the one who told the people of Israel, "God will choose one of your people to be a prophet, just as he chose me."

Now we see how God does make us acceptable to him. The Law and the Prophets tell how we become acceptable, and it isn't by obeying the Law of Moses.

And since our first duty is to be faithful to the one we work for,

"Our LORD, it seems that you have just begun to show me your great power. No other god in the sky or on earth is able to do the mighty things that you do.

And so, Moses the LORD's servant died there in Moab, just as the LORD had said.

I thank Christ Jesus our Lord. He has given me the strength for my work because he knew that he could trust me.

Long ago in many ways and at many times God's prophets spoke his message to our ancestors.

Jesus was faithful to God, who appointed him, just as Moses was faithful in serving all of God's people.

Of course, every house is built by someone, and God is really the one who built everything.

But the tent where they serve is just a copy and a shadow of the real one in heaven. Before Moses made the tent, he was told, "Be sure to make it exactly like the pattern you were shown on the mountain!"

This is why Christ did not go into a tent that had been made by humans and was only a copy of the real one. Instead, he went into heaven and is now there with God to help us.

conquer the land that the LORD is giving them. The LORD will give peace to them as he has given peace to you, and then you can come back and settle here in the land that Moses promised you.

My servant Moses is dead. Now you must lead Israel across the Jordan River into the land I'm giving to all of you.

Moses had said that everyone in Israel was to go to the valley between Mount Ebal and Mount Gerizim, where they were to be blessed. So everyone went there, including the foreigners, the leaders, officials, and judges. Half of the people stood on one side of the valley, and half on the other side, with the priests from the Levi tribe standing in the middle with the sacred chest. Then in a loud voice, Joshua read the blessings and curses from The Book of the Law of Moses.

and they were singing the song that his servant Moses and the Lamb had sung. They were singing, "Lord God All-Powerful, you have done great and marvelous things. You are the ruler of all nations, and you do what is right and fair.
