Some of them disobeyed, but the next morning what they kept was stinking and full of worms, and Moses was angry.

Moses told them not to keep any overnight.

Each morning everyone gathered as much as they needed, and in the heat of the day the rest melted.

The people obeyed, and the next morning the food smelled fine and had no worms.

Moses was very angry and said to the LORD, "Don't listen to these men! I haven't done anything wrong to them. I haven't taken as much as a donkey."

Don't store up treasures on earth! Moths and rust can destroy them, and thieves can break in and steal them.

When Jesus saw this, he became angry and said, "Let the children come to me! Don't try to stop them. People who are like these little children belong to the kingdom of God.

Jesus was angry as he looked around at the people. Yet he felt sorry for them because they were so stubborn. Then he told the man, "Stretch out your hand." He did, and his bad hand was healed.

Then he said to the crowd, "Don't be greedy! Owning a lot of things won't make your life safe."

Sell what you have and give the money to the poor. Make yourselves moneybags that never wear out. Make sure your treasure is safe in heaven, where thieves cannot steal it and moths cannot destroy it.

Don't get so angry that you sin. Don't go to bed angry

Don't fall in love with money. Be satisfied with what you have. The Lord has promised that he will not leave us or desert us.
