Their land included the eastern side of the Jordan River valley, as far south as the Dead Sea below the slopes of Mount Pisgah.
The man said: This water flows eastward to the Jordan River valley and empties into the Dead Sea, where it turns the salt water into fresh water.

Sometime later, Moses left the lowlands of Moab. He went up Mount Pisgah to the peak of Mount Nebo, which is across the Jordan River from Jericho. The LORD showed him all the land as far north as Gilead and the town of Dan.
from the town of Aroer on the edge of the Arnon River gorge, north to Mount Hermon.
Moses called together the people of Israel and said: Today I am telling you the laws and teachings that you must follow, so listen carefully.
